1. Who we are

Linigu Translator ("we", "us") is operated by Linigu, and this policy covers translator.linigu.com along with its sister sites sdltranslator.linigu.com and wordtranslator.linigu.com, which share the same account system.

2. What we collect

3. What we do with your files

Uploaded files are processed only to produce the translation you asked for. In practice this means:

• Text is sent to Google's Gemini API for translation. Under our API terms, this content is not used to train Google's models.
• Translated files and their source data are automatically deleted 48 hours after upload.
• We do not use your documents, translation memories, or termbases to train any AI model — ours or anyone else's.
• We do not read, review, or share the content of your documents except as needed to run the translation and, if something breaks, to diagnose the failure.

4. Payments

Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Your card number, expiry date, and CVC are entered directly on Stripe's hosted checkout page and never pass through our servers. We only receive a payment confirmation and the amount paid.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies (session and CSRF protection) and a theme preference stored in your browser's local storage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.

6. Who we share data with

• Google (Gemini API, Google Sign-In) — to perform translations and, if you choose, to authenticate you.
• Stripe — to process card payments.
• We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below — we'll respond within a reasonable time and in any case within the period required by applicable law.

8. Data retention

Uploaded files and their translated outputs: 48 hours. Account, billing, and usage records: kept for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes.

9. Children

This service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
