1. Who we are

Linigu Translator ("we", "us") is a Linigu product operated by MeTime Travel Turizm Danışmanlık Limited Şirketi, a limited company registered in Turkey, which is the data controller for this service. This policy covers translator.linigu.com along with its sister site sdltranslator.linigu.com, which shares the same account system.

2. What we collect

3. What we do with your files

Uploaded files are processed only to produce the translation you asked for. In practice this means:

• Text is sent to Google's Gemini API for translation. Under our API terms, this content is not used to train Google's models.
• Translated files and their source data are automatically deleted 48 hours after upload.
• We do not use your documents, translation memories, or termbases to train any AI model — ours or anyone else's.
• We do not read, review, or share the content of your documents except as needed to run the translation and, if something breaks, to diagnose the failure.

4. Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payment, billing, sales tax/VAT, and order-related customer service. Paddle is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Your card number, expiry date, and CVC are entered directly in Paddle's secure checkout and never pass through our servers. Paddle processes your payment details and billing address under its own privacy policy; we only receive a payment confirmation, the amount paid, and the email you used at checkout.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies (session and CSRF protection), language preference cookies, a theme preference stored in your browser's local storage, and Google Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic and usage. 6. Who we share data with

• Google (Gemini API, Google Sign-In, Google Analytics) — to perform translations, to authenticate you if you choose to sign in with Google, and to understand aggregate site usage. Analytics data is not tied to your account or your translation content.
• Paddle.com — our reseller and Merchant of Record, to process payments, invoices, and sales tax.
• We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@linigu.com — we'll respond within a reasonable time and in any case within the period required by applicable law.

8. Data retention

Uploaded files and their translated outputs: 48 hours. Account, billing, and usage records: kept for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes.

9. Children

This service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
